NerdFest 2008

As the Birthday weekend continues Jenni, Ian, Chris and I went to see Jonathan Coulton in concert last night. It was a total Nerdfest and we guys loved it. I think Jenni might have had a little fun too…maybe.

You have to love being at a show where the singer asks “Who here loves math?” and the crowd go crazy.

Here are some videos of my favorite songs from the show as the pictures I took were awful. I didn’t get “re: Your Brains” because I forgot to recharge my batteries.

Chris will have better pictures I promise you.

I really couldn’t have picked a better group to go with me. Thanks guys.

[...] Wyatt, Ian, Jenni and I made the trek to Atlanta, GA over the weekend to see Jonathan Coulton live at the Variety Playhouse. Paul and Storm were a great opening act, and Coulton did not disappoint. The show was three hours of geekiness, and I couldn’t be happier to have been in attendance. (Wyatt’s thoughts can be read here: Nerdfest 2008) [...]

I posted some pics to flickr. They didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked. Lesson learned? Get closer to the stage next time. :) Had a blast at the show. Thanks for letting me tag along.
